last friday i was on the way to office… that was the last day of our dohs office life. my face looked pale and i was traveling by a black cab. on the midway suddenly i heard some unfamiliar metallic sound. a mishuk (a three wheeler deshi made auto rickshaw) was just ahead of my cab and i realized that the sound was coming from that. it could be a few seconds… i was guessing to see something and suddenly it happened. one of the wheel come out from the mishuk… the mishuk jumped once, crawl few yards on the road… got a stuck on the road divider and and stopped in front of a running bus. i just screamed… and luckily the bus stopped… few people come out from the bus to help the mishuk’s driver and the passenger. i felt sorry… and i thought i’ll never ride a mishuk…

today (30 sep)  i was on the way to our new office… it was the first day. i wasn’t in a good mood because i am still not familiar with the new location and i had to walk a long way under the burning sun. i had to cross a road… the road in front of the hotel sheraton. its a busy road and i was too careful. i crossed it and i was trying to reach the footpath. it has rain early in the morning and rain water stored alongside the road. i was trying to jump over it… and suddenly a pajero came… it had enough room to save me… but it was fast. within a micro second i realized it has hit on my left shoulder by its left side back view mirror. i just felt a touch and heard a big sound. first few second i couldn’t realize what really happened. many people on the road were starring on me. i was surprised… nothing happened to me! even i couldn’t feel a simple mosquito bite like pain. am i lucky? definitely i don’t want to blame me… yes i should be more careful. but what had happened today was fault of the driver of the pajero. later i thought lot about that driver person. what did he think after hitting me? did he feel any regret? i can’t imagine…

the history of my blog writing isn’t to old… i just started it few months ago. now i am maintaining few blog pages in different free blogger sites. its interesting and few days ago i wanted to have my own blog site. my boss heard about it and he bought me a domain name ‘lifearoundme.com’ and a hosting space . i am very happy. its surprising that such a beautiful domain name was not taken…

yesterday i’ve been asked to make a design for hiv program of care bangladesh. i have to design a poster which will consist a summary about the whole project activities and goals. this poster is going to be displayed on a conference in bankok. i had to submit the design within 9pm of today… that means i’ve got 24 hours for building the design. well, its pretty enough time. but somehow it became a huge pressure for me. last night i couldn’t sleep well… i just keep on thinking… what i’ll do? normally when i get a job in my office, i don’t need too much time to build it. i could think then in a professional way. but in my freelance works, it make me think too much… i expend too much time for thinking. but the results don’t show too many differences… true is that my freelance works are weaker than my regular office’s work. today after submitting the design, they sent me a quick feedback. they liked the design with few simple modifications. its good in a way… but i am not happy. its yet doesn’t look a good work to me…

we designers always have to keep this pain… we always can’t do what we like to do. a ‘good’ designer knows client is always right. clients mean everything… whatever the design is if the client say ‘ok’… its perfect. if client say ‘no’, then it has no use… no matter how good others are saying it… the designer only can show the screen shot on his portfolio…

i have several blog pages in different free blog providers site like blogger, msn space etc. i’ve started creating such blog few months ago and now i feel that it became a passion for me. its good because i am writing (whatever the topic is) regularly. well, i think this wordpress software is really a revolutionary idea and that made people keep their site always updated. i don’t have to be a computer genius to update my site… or don’t have to have too many contents.

often i have to design wordpress themes for my office’s clients (example: 1, 2, 3, 4, etc). first few days i didn’t understand what i am doing. i saw some standard theme on wordpress.com and then tried to manage the design like they did. but now i could understand the application better as i am using it own self.

most of the time it seems really fantastic… and myself lucky. sometime its boring and very few time ‘want to leave it somehow’. for last few years i’ve spent most of the hours of my life with my friends and colleagues. it was nice

i am not a person with a big ambition. i want to get those things which are around me and reachable with less anxieties. to me its good policy to be happy. i believe in God and i think its the certain source for all desires that i keep.
